The cottage is centrally heated and has a small, cosy lounge with comfortable seating, gate-leg dining table, TV-DVD combi with freeview stations, a VCR and a CD/radio/cassette player.

There are local guide books, reading books, videos and DVD's for you to use. The split level kitchen is very well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, built in oven, fridge, microwave, slow cooker etc.

The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a shower attachment over the bath.

Upstairs the main bedroom has a very comfortable double bed, two pine bedside cabinets, a pine wardrobe, a pine chest of drawers and a linen cupboard.

Through the adjoining door is the smaller bedroom which has two bunk beds, two wardrobe cupboards and a pine chest of drawers.
There are toys and games in the smaller bedroom, a small portable DVD player, a CD/Radio and a good selection of easy listening CD's in the double bedroom.
To the rear of the cottage is a small south facing patio garden with flower beds. There is a picnic table and bench for you to enjoy eating outside on sunny days. In the shed are a few toys, buckets and spades, fishing rod etc.
Parking close to the cottage is good with plenty of on street parking in quiet roads near the cottage.

From the front windows of the cottage are really beautiful views across grazing land to the Purbeck Hills. A short walk across fields or along the nearby lane you will find Herston Halt, a tiny station on the Swanage Steam Railway line where you can hail the train for a ride to Corfe Castle or into Swanage town centre.
